Lahore (Web Desk) The defamation bill approved by the Punjab Assembly has been made into law, Acting Governor of Punjab Malik Ahmed Khan has signed the defamation bill approved by the provincial assembly,
the bill will come into force after gazette notification. After the approval of the Punjab Assembly, the defamation bill was waiting for the signature of the Governor of Punjab for several days as the Governor of Punjab Salim Haider had expressed reservations regarding signing the bill. After signing the Defamation Bill, Acting Governor Punjab Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan sent it back to the Punjab Assembly.
